Eva Dominguez Cantu, 90, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 28, 2017, surrounded by her children and numerous grandchildren at her residence in Harlingen, Texas. 

She was born January 29, 1927, in Port Isabel, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Maria Guadalupe Barrera Dominguez of Port Isabel, TX, husband, Raul Cantu, Sr. of Brownsville, TX and her siblings, Guadalupe Garza, Aurora Rosales, Lucio Dominguez, Jose Dominguez, Refugia Barrera, Isabel Valdez and Lydia Delgado all of Port Isabel, TX. 

She is survived by her children, Celia Rodriguez of El Paso, TX, Isabel Dorsett of Harlingen, TX, Josefina (Jose Angel) Saldivar of Harlingen, TX, Raul Cantu, Jr. of Canton, Ohio, Anna Laura Kelly of Brownsville, TX, Luciano (Ruth) Cantu of Bolivar, Ohio, Roberto Cantu, Sr. of Brownsville, TX, Rolando Cantu, Sr. of Hurst, TX, Ramiro (Dominga) Cantu of Grand Prairie, TX, Ricardo Cantu, Sr. of Montgomery, TX, Pedro (Maria Guadalupe) Cantu of Brownsville, TX, Eva De La Rosa of Sebastian, TX, Estella (Michael Kenneth) Cantu-Miller of Harlingen, TX and Hector (Rocio) Negrete of Brownsville, TX; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews of Port Isabel and Brownsville, TX.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Garza Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Chapel Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 1, 2017. All services will conclude after chapel service.
