Angelita R. San Miguel

Angelita R. San Miguel, 77, of Brownsville, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville.

Angelita was born in Brownsville, TX, to Estefana Olvera and Ramiro Rodriguez on October 30, 1946. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramiro and Estefana Olvera Rodriguez; the love of her life, James Stensland her brothers, Guadalupe Olvera, and Francisco Rodriguez.

Angelita is survived by her daughter, Guadalupe Rivera (Salvador Rivera, Jr.); siblings, Ramiro Rodriguez, Yolanda Zamora, and Mary Lou Guerrero; numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm Monday, April 22nd, 2024, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024, at Holy Family Catholic Church. Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Pallbearers will be: Salvador Rivera, Ramiro Rodriguez, Jr., Pedro Guerrero, Joey Castillo, Alex Guerrero, Juan Pablo Campos, Jr., and Juan Sandoval.
