Dan Burton Uzzell, 87, of Brownsville, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at his residence in Brownsville.
Dan was an Army Veteran.
He was born in Harlindale, TX, to Bernice Elaine Cole and Marion Uzzell on July 3, 1936. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernice Elaine Cole and Marion Lee Uzzell; brother, Don Uzzell.
He is survived by his wife, Lucila C. Etheridge; one son, Mike Leinneweber (Laura); 3 daughters, Susan Trott (Peter), Shawn Hall (Mike), and Shannon Uzzell (Ralph Schroeder); sisiter-in-Law; Reva Uzzell; grandchildren, Dustin Hall, Ashley Hall, Caleb Uzzell, Bobby Dixon, III., Jesse Dixon, Allison Trott, and Alexa Trott; 2 great-grandchildren, Cash Trott and Brody McKee.
