Francisco Monzon Gutierrez

Francisco Monzon Gutierrez, 91, of Brownsville, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Sunshine Haven in Olmito.

Francisco Monzon Gutierrez was born in H. Matamoros, Tamps., Mexico to Lucinda and Agustin Gutierrez on April 27, 1927.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Agustin and Lucinda Gutierrez; son, Jaime Gutierrez; brother, Romulo Gutierrez.

Francisco Monzon Gutierrez is survived by his wife, Isabel Gutierrez; children, Francisco Javier, Juventino, Herman, Lucinda Gutierrez Cunningham, and Gerardo Gutierrez; 18 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren; several nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 9 pm with a Prayer Service at 7 pm on Thursday, May 2, 2019, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel Service will be held at 10 am Friday, May 3, 2019, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Gutierrez, Herman Gutierrez, Joshua Gutierrez, Isaac Gutierrez, Tino Gutierrez, and Brad Cunningham.
