Irma R. (Rodriguez) Young

Irma R. Young, 84 of Brownsville, Texas, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2019.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Young; mother, Juana Lara Guzman; father. Juan Rodriguez; two brothers, Oscar Rodriguez Lara and Jose Luis Rodriguez Lara; and one granddaughter, Ashley Brianna Young Sanchez.

Irma is survived by her loving daughter, Mary Lou Young; three grandchildren, Kayla Michelle Estrada, Christopher John Young, and Genesis Alexa Young-Sanchez; one brother, Gilberto Rodriguez Lara; four sisters, Amelia R. Espinosa, Ester Garcia, Raquel Puga Rodriguez; and Laura Mendoza Rodriguez; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will begin Sunday, November 3, 2019, from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. with a chapel service at 5:00 p.m. at Garza Memorial Funeral Home in Brownsville, Texas. All services will conclude after the visitation.
