Macario Yanez

Macario Yañez Muñiz, 75, of Brownsville, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at his Residence in Brownsville.

Macario Yañez was born and raised in Valle Hermoso Tamps., Mexico on June 20, 1944. He had passion for music and became a musician. He met Noelia Yañez and got married. They had two children and later moved to Brownsville, TX where he lived till God called him to be by his side.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Noelia Garza Yañez of 35 years of marriage; parents, Jose Felix Yañez, and Eustolia Muñiz; siblings, Nicolasa Rodriguez, Clemente Yañez, Sabina Morales, Maria Barbosa, Gabina Cruz, and Juan Yañez.

Macario Yañez is survived by his son, Saul Macario (Belinda) Yañez, and a daughter, Alma Nely (Roy) Garcia; 2nd wife, Concepcion Alanis Martinez; 1 brother Santiago Yañez, and a sister, Guillermina Calcaneo; grandchildren, Perla Ruby Yañez, Richard David Garcia, Israel Macario Yañez, and Angel Gregorio Yañez.

Visitation will be held from 12 noon - 9 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will continue from 9 am - 12 noon on Friday, July 12, 2019, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will continue at Funeraria La Paz in Valle Hermoso, Tamps. Mexico.
