Marcelina T. Salas de Mendoza

Marcelina T. Salas de Mendoza, 66, of Los Fresnos, Texas, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville.
She was born and raised in Matamoros, Tamaulipas.

Marcelina in preceded in death by her parents, Jose Carmen Salas and Florentina Cermeño; siblings, Esther Salas, Juan Salas, and Guadalupe Salas.

She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Jose F. Mendoza; four sons, Rafael Mendoza, Rodolfo Mendoza, Joel Mendoza, and Misael Mendoza; five brothers and sisters, Luis Salas, Enrique Salas, Martha Salas, Maria del Refugio Salas, Estanislao Salas, and Maria Dolores Salas; grandchildren, Rafael Mendoza, Edgar Mendoza, Paola Mendoza, Obed Mendoza, Emanuel Mendoza, Abdias Mendoza, Ulises Mendoza, Melanie Mendoza, Ian Mendoza, and Zoe Mendoza; and her great-grandchild, Violeta Mendoza.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Templo Alpha y Omega, 2025 S. Minnesota Ave., in Brownsville, Texas, with an overnight vigil. Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at Templo Alpha y Omega by Pastor Juan Manuel Cortez. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Brownsville, Texas.
