Maria Elvira De La Rosa, 72, of Brownsville passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019, in Houston.

She is preceded in death by husband, Jose Gilberto De La Rosa; parents, Francisco Mireles and Eloisa Pereida; 1 brother, and 3 sisters. 

Mrs. De La Rosa is survived by daughter, Belinda (Rigoberto) Berrones; 2 sons, Ceasar (Esmeralda) De La Rosa, and Carlos (Dolores) De La Rosa; 5 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4 pm to 9 pm with a Rosary at 7 pm on Friday, May 31, 2019, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Pallbearers will be Mike Moreno, Jr., Mike Moreno, Sr., Victor Garcia, David Garcia, Adam Romero, and Rigoberto Berrones.
