Adelaida Cantu

Adelaida Cantu, 89, of Brownsville, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Ebony Lake Healthcare Center in Brownsville.

Adelaida is survived by her children, Gloria Treviño, Santa Garcia, Lilia R. Maldonado (Juan), and Maria Del Carmen R. de Rodriguez; siblings, Francisca Gallegos, Fermin Narvaez, Esther Narvaez, and Nicolas Narvaez; 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm Wednesday, May 20th, 2026, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. All services will conclude after visitation.
