Amelia Cerda, 86, of Brownsville, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Bella Villa Gracia Assisted Living in Brownsville.

Amelia Cerda was born in Brownsville, TX, to Angela Martinez and Salvador Reyna on February 7, 1938.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Angela and Salvador Reyna; 8 sisters, and 2 brothers.

Amelia is survived by her children, Daniel Luis Beltran, Melinda Savoy, and Patricia Robles; her sister, Mariana Perales; 6 grandchildren, Vincent Beltran, Anthony Beltran, Francisco Beltran, Melissa Robles, Cassandra Robles, and Nicolas Robles; 1 great-granddaughter, Mia Rose Beltran.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm Friday, July 26th, 2024, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, July 27th, 2024, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
