Angelita Covarrubias

Angelita Covarrubias, 73, of Brownsville, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Guadalupe Vasquez and Gregorio Leal; siblings: Yolanda Leal, Roberto Leal, and Gregorio Leal.

Angelita is survived by her sisters: Herminia Cuellar, and Maria G. Rodriguez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 pm Monday, September 16, 2024, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. All services will conclude after visitation.
