Angelita Flores

Angelita Flores, 74, of Brownsville, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at her residence in Brownsville.

Angelita Flores was born in Brownsville, TX., to Hilaria Herrera and Alejandro Lugo on August 13, 1949. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Hector Flores.

Angelita is survived by her daughter, Ruth Flores; her sons, Saul Flores (Ana), Benjamin Flores, Hector Jose Flores, Jr., and Abraham Flores (Nohemi); sisters, Yolanda Vasquez, and Oralia Ice; her brothers, Alejandro Lugo, Jr., and Inocencio Lugo; 15 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Friday, May 31st, 2024, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
