Artemio E. Martinez, 76, of Brownsville, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Herlinda Martinez; siblings, Federico, Guadalupe, Jr., Daniel, Erasmo, and San Juanita.

Artemio E. Martinez is survived by his wife, Bertha Martinez; children, Artemio Martinez, Jr., (Synthia) and Zandalio G. Martinez (Vanessa); siblings, Reblo, Diana, and Luis Martinez; 5 grandchildren, Artemio Martinez, III, Angelica Marie, Sophia, Samuel, and Jasmine Martinez.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm with an evening service at 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Continue visitation from 8:30 am - 10:30 am on Friday, September 9, 2022, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
