Beatriz Ramirez Olivarez, 79, of Brownsville, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Alta Vista Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Brownsville.

Beatriz Ramirez Olivarez was born in H. Matamoros, Tamps., Mexico to Elvira De Leon and Enrique Ramirez on April 15, 1943.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dario Olivarez; parents, Enrique and Elvira Ramirez; son, Mario Olivarez; brother, Enrique Ramirez; sister, Belen Amaro.

Mrs. Olivarez is survived by her sons, Esteban (Guadalupe) Olivarez and Dario (Jandra) Olivarez; siblings, Arturo Ramirez, Margarita De Leon, and Francisca Gonzalez; five grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. Chapel Service will be held at 9:00 am on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
