Berta Olguin

Berta Olguin 79, of Brownsville, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022, at Harlingen Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Harlingen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sixto and Consuelo Olguin; son, Homero Olguin; brother, Armando Olguin.

Berta Olguin is survived by her two loving sons, Omar Olguin (Claudine O'Carroll Olguin), and Julio Olguin (Araceli Cardenas); siblings, Juan Miguel Olguin, and Maria Isabel Olguin Vda. De Garza; five grandchildren, Samantha Olguin, Caitlin Olguin, Alaina Olguin, Alex Olguin, Jordan Olguin, and several nephews, nieces and other relatives.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm, on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home in Brownsville.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 23, 2022, at Holy Family Catholic Church 2405 E. Tyler st., Brownsville, TX. Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park in Brownsville.
