Bertha Cuevas

Bertha Cuevas, 91, of Brownsville, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at her residence in Brownsville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Basilio Cuevas; sons: Basilio Cuevas, Jr., and Reynaldo Cuevas; daughter, Dora Elia Cuevas.

Bertha Cuevas is survived by her children: Victor Rodriguez, Maria Elena Rodriguez, Dora Alicia Rodriguez, and Maricela Cuevas; 27 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm Wednesday, December 17th, 2025, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 9:00 am Thursday, December 18th, 2025, at Immaculate Conception Cathedral. Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
