Carlos Romero

Carlos Romero, 82, of Brownsville, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at his residence in Brownsville.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Federico and Petra Romero.

Carlos Romero is survived by his wife, Hortencia Romero; children, Carlos (Bertha) Romero, Jr., Adriana Romero, Gerardo (Maria Elena) Romero, Hortencia Romero, Claudia Selena (Jose G.) Hernandez, Elio (Claudia) Romero; siblings, Alfredo Romero, Alicia Adame, Miriam Brown, Jose Luis, Federico, Jose Maria, Alejandro, Julio, Rosario, Ruben, and Juan David Romero; 14 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm with an evening service at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at St. Eugene De Mazenod Catholic Church. Committal service will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
