Cecilia Rios Duarte, 73, of Brownsville, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025, in Santa Fe, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ma. Nicanor Arvizu and Donaciano Duarte; son, Jose Luis Rios, Jr.

Cecilia Rios is survived by her husband, Jose Luis Rios; children, Jose Luis Rios, Alfredo Rios (Yessica), Alberto Rios (Sonia), Luis Andres Rios (Liliana), Albino Rios (Edna), and Francisco Rios; siblings, Maria Duarte, Pantaleon Arvizu, Christina Alfaro, Felix Alfaro, Isidro Alfaro, Oliverio Arvizu, and Fabian Duarte Arvizu; and 12 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel Service at 11:00 am Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. All services will conclude at 1:00 pm Thursday, January, 16, 2025.
