Obituary
Cleotilde Barrientos Ortiz, 96, of Brownsville, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Spanish Meadows Nursing Home in Brownsville.
Cleotilde Barrientos was born in Cruillas, Tamps., Mexico, to Maria De Jesus Medina and Pablo Barrientos on July 15, 1926.
She is preceded in death by her spouse, Martin G. Ortiz, her sister Manuela De Los Santos and her brother, Felipe Barrientos.
She is survived by two children, Maria Elvia Ortiz of Brownsville, TX and Gehu Carrillo (Flora); four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Angelica Castillo.and numerous other relatives.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm on Monday, May 15, 2023, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. All services will conclude after the visitation
