Cristina Gonzalez Sanchez

Cristina Gonzalez Sanchez, 89, of Brownsville, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at her daughter's residence in Brownsville.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Macaria Gonzalez; daughter, Rosa Maria Sanchez.

Cristina is survived by her children, Laura (Crispin) Belmares, and Cosme Gonzalez Sanchez; siblings, Amelia Gonzalez, and Ofelia Gonzalez; eight grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm with an evening service at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. Chapel service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
