David Thomas Gibson

David Thomas Gibson, 77, of San Benito, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Harlingen Medical Center.

David Thomas Gibson was born in Columbus, OH, to Iva Clarrisa Summers and Harland Howard Gibson on April 2, 1949. He is survived by his wife, Rosa Maria Gibson and his daughter, Tavis Gibson; siblings: Ricardo William Gibson, Curtis Gibson, Cathy Kathi Kirt, and Judy Gibson.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm with Military Honors at 6:00 pm and a Rosary at 7:00 pm Wednesday, June 10th, 2026, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Services will continue at Funeraria Escobedo in Matamoros.
