Delia Mendoza

Delia Mendoza, 72, of Brownsville, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Maria Isabel and Jose Isidro Velasquez; siblings, Ramon, Guadalupe, Natalio, Isidro, and Irma Velasquez; grandson, Rodrigo Mancilla, Jr.

Delia Mendoza is survived by her husband, Arturo Mendoza; children, Roberto Ramos, Lidia Mancilla, Rodrigo Mancilla, Raul Mendoza, Arturo Mendoza, Jr., Rolando Mendoza, Lizette Carbajal, Breanna Mancilla, and Veronica V. Mendoza; brother, Rodimiro Velasquez; 30 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel service will be held at 10:00 am Sunday, February 6, 2022, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. All services will conclude after the chapel service.
