Edwin Amaya Obituary
Edwin Amaya, 58, of Brownsville, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Rita Amaya and his sister, Veronica Amaya Fuentes.
Edwin Amaya is survived by his wife, Dora E. Amaya; his children, Edwin (Norma) Amaya, Jr., and Edward Amaya; his father, Roberto Amaya; his sisters, Griselda Amaya, Selene (Steven) Lopez and Marsella (Robert) Reyes; his special friends, Reyes Martinez, Jesus Lopez, Jaime Palacios, and Pete Cavazos; and his beloved pets, Bubba and Princess.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17, 2020, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. All services will conclude after the visitation.
