Ellena Rose Martin

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Ellena Rose Martin born on September 8, 2021. She passed away peacefully in her parent’s arms on September 10, 2021 at Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX. Though her time with her family was short, she touched many lives and was loved deeply by those around her. Ellena Rose was a precious daughter, granddaughter, sister, and niece, and she will be greatly missed by her loving family and close friends. Her family cherishes her memory as the brief gift it was. Ellena Rose is survived by her parent’s, Eduardo and Stephanie Martin, her big sister, Ella Rose, her grandparents, Esteban and Josefina Martin, Marisela and Narciso Cortez, Raul and Jennifer Rodriguez, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Memorial service will be held at Mary Mother of the Church, 1914 Barnard Rd. Brownsville, TX, on Saturday September 18, at 1:00pm. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend. Flowers and donations are accepted in Ellena Rose’s honor.
