Emma Sanchez Villarreal

Emma Sanchez Villarreal, 83, of Brownsville, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Olivia Sanchez, and a sister, Elvia Garcia.

Emma Sanchez Villarreal is survived by her husband, Rosendo Villarreal; brother, Victor Quintanilla; niece, Elaine Garcia, and nephew, Eliseo Garcia.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 9:00 am on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Immaculate Conception Cathedral. Committal will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
