Esmeralda Palacios

Esmeralda Palacios, 89, of San Benito, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville.

Esmeralda is survived by her children: Guillermina Palacios (Liberato Marquez), Marco Antonio Palacios, Dora Palacios (Jorge Luis Barrera), Juan Francisco Palacios (Sandra Montelongo), Jesus Palacios (Patricia Trinidad), Maria Esmeralda Palacios, Gloria Palacios (Jose Angel Salas); siblings: Santos Sanchez, Dora Sanchez and Graciela Sanchez; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm Thursday, July 16th, 2026, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, July 17th, 2026, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Guillen Community Cemetery.
