Francisca Ramirez, 85, of Brownsville, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at her residence in Brownsville.

Francisca Ramirez was born in Ciudad Victoria, Tamps., Mexico, to Teresa Martinez and Jose Sanchez on June 4, 1938. She was preceded in death by her parents, Teresa and Jose Sanchez; children, Maria Teresa Ramirez, and Fidencio Ramirez; grandson, Francisco Gracia; granddaughter, Lucia Gracia; brothers, Felix and Atanasio Sanchez.

Francisca Ramirez is survived by her husband, Alfio Ramirez; children, Levi (Francisca) Ramirez, Francisco Ramirez, Alfa Erica (Maximo ) Cañas, Aida A. Ramirez, Alfio (Aracely) Ramirez, Jr., and Jose Luis (Karen) Ramirez; siblings, Josefina Sanchez, Julia Sanchez, Eusebio (Guadalupe) Sanchez, Carlota SAnchez, and Maria Sanchez (Manuel); 14 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm on Wednesday, June 28, 2023. Chapel Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
