Fredesvinda O. Escamilla

Fredesvinda O. Escamilla, 86, of Los Fresnos, went to be with our Lord, on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville.

Fredesvinda O. Escamilla was born in San Fernando, Tamps, MX, to Rafaela and Gustavo Ochoa on August 28, 1936. Her faith in God was strong, she loved gardening and spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gustavo and Rafaela Ochoa, and her son, Issac Escamilla III.

Fredesvinda is survived by her loving daughter, Patricia E. Medina (Pedro); sister, Gloria Garza; 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm on Monday, April 10, 2023, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
