George Neftaly Rodriguez, 20, of Brownsville, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, in Houston, TX

George Neftaly Rodriguez was born in Brownsville, TX, to Amalia Martinez and Jorge Rodriguez on June 16, 2004. He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Eusebio Rodriguez, and maternal grandmother, Maria Juana Santiago.

He is survived by his parents: Jorge Rodriguez, and Amalia Martinez Santiago; sister, Yatzari Rozlynn Rodriguez; paternal grandmother, Juanita Meza Rodriguez; maternal grandfather, Bonifacio Martinez Guzman; aunts, Betzayde "Becky" Ibarra (Alonso) Leydi Vivas (David), Norma Martinez, Mireya Barrera (Rubiel), and Sulema Peña (Benjamin); uncles, Eleazar Martinez, and Eusebio Rodriguez (Paula); and numerous cousins and other relatives.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm Thursday, January 2nd, 2025, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, January 3rd, 2025, at St. Mary's Mother of the Church. Committal will follow at Guillen Community Cemetery.
