Gilberto "Sane" Valdez Jr., 76, of Brownsville, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020, at Alta Vista Rehabilitation And Healthcare in Brownsville.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gilberto and Zoila Valdez; grandson, Saul "Kala" Alanis.
Gilberto Valdez Jr. is survived by his wife, Yolanda Salazar; children, Maria Dolores Valdez, Brenda (Francisco) Larrasquitu, Suzanna (Jorge) Lopez, Yolanda Valdez, Gilberto (Mary) Valdez, Jose De Jesus (Maria Elena ) Valdez, Alfonso (Daisy) Valdez, Gilberto (Anna) Vasquez; siblings, Jose Francisco (Carmelina) Valdez, Maria Luisa Valdez; 29 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews, and nieces.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gilberto and Zoila Valdez; grandson, Saul "Kala" Alanis.
