Gonzalo Rodea Alaniz

Gonzalo R. "DJ Frog" Alaniz, 63, of Brownsville, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Dolores Alaniz; sister, Julia Alaniz; and grandson, Mason Raul.

Mr. Alaniz is survived by his wife, Maria Guadalupe Alaniz; 3 daughters, Dolores Tiffany (Daniel) Martinez, Natalie Michelle Alaniz, and Kimberlie Ashlie (Jesus) Ramos; siblings, Jose Luis Alaniz, Rolando Alaniz, Henry Alaniz, and Cecilia Gutierrez; 9 grandchildren, Amy Lynn, Mia, Lola, Emma Suri, Zoey Raine, Ociel, Jeremiah Kole, Tiffany, and Michael Asher.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm on Monday, July 5, 2021, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. All services will be concluded after visitation.
