Griselda Chavero, 38, of Brownsville, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville.

Griselda Chavero is survived by her husband, Juan Chavero; daughter, Fatima Griselda Chavero; son, Juan Raul Chavero, Jr.; her parents Jesus Cristo, and Gloria Alicia Saavedra, her siblings, Karina Martinez Saavedra, Marisol Hernandez, and Jesus Saavedra, Jr.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 on Sunday, February 20th, 2022, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Monday, February 21st, 2022, at St. Eugene De Mazenod Catholic Church. Committal will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
