Guadalupe Graciela Esparza, 87, of Brownsville, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Sunshine Haven in Olmito.
Born on May 18, 1937, in Padilla, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to her loving parents, Celia and Antonio Guevara. On May 16, 1961, she married Carlos Esparza Jr. in Willacy County, forming a bond that brought joy to her life. Known for her passion for sewing, cooking, and her love of TV novelas, Guadalupe filled her days with creativity and warmth.
She is now reunited with her husband, Carlos, and her beloved daughter, Nora Hilda Villarreal, as well as her dear parents, Antonio and Celia Guevara.
She is survived by her son, Carlos Esparza III, daughter-in-law, Joy Esparza, and son-in-law, Juan Jose Villarreal. She also leaves behind three grandchildren, Aiesha Villarreal, Jaiden Storm, and BayLeigh Rae, as well as four siblings: Rosa Guevara, Francisco Guevara, Maria Elena Guevara, and Blanca Estela Guevara, along with numerous other relatives.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM, with a rosary scheduled for 6:00 PM, on Monday, December 9, 2024 at Garza Memorial Funeral Home . Funeral services will take place at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home, followed by a graveside serv at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
