Herminia Villarreal, 77, of Brownsville, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at her residence in Brownsville.
Herminia Villarreal was born in San Fernando, Tamps, MX, to Raquel Rangel and Marcelino Martinez on July 20, 1945. She was preceded in death by her parents: Marcelino and Raquel Martinez; son, Pedro Villarreal, Jr.; daughter, Rachel Villarreal Vasquez; great-grandson, Christian Lopez; a sister, Guadalupe Barrientes.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Gutierrez, Aida Castillo, and Rudy Vento; sister, Maria Esther Chapa, and brother, Marcelo Martinez; 11 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 29th, 2023, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home.
All services will conclude after visitation.
