Irene Cisneros Rivera

Irene Cisneros Rivera, 90, of Brownsville, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021, at her residence in Brownsville.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Arcadio and Anastasia Cisneros; husband, Manuel Rivera; son, Manuel Rivera, Jr.; sisters, Rosa Garcia and Petra Rivera.

Irene Cisneros Rivera is survived by her sons, Salome Rivera, Efren Rivera, and daughter, Ercilia Rivera; sisters, Margarita Buitron and Marcelina Moreno Cisneros; 14 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
