Irma Cortez

Irma Cortez, 76, of Los Fresnos, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at her residence in Los Fresnos.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eustorgio B. Moreno, and Luisa Cruhm; husband, Ubaldo Cortez, Sr., and several other relatives.

Irma Cortez is survived by her children, Matilda (George) Torrez Ovalle, Ubaldo (Tracy) Cortez, Jr., Julio (Angelina) Torrez, Martha (Antonio) Galvan, Ramon Cortez, Ivonne Castillo, Blanca Castillo, Josue Castillo, Ivan Castillo, and Sulema Castillo; 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be from 12 pm - 9 pm with a Rosary at 7 pm on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. All services will conclude after visitation.
