Javier Rangel

Javier Rangel, 78, of Brownsville, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Solara Hospital in Brownsville.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo Rangel and Wenseslada Mancillas; daughter, Leticia Lopez.

Javier Rangel is survived by his wife, Graciela V. Rangel; son, Rigoberto Rangel; daughters, Maria Angelica Rangel Vazquez, Esmeralda Rangel, Elena Martinez, and Trinidad Rangel; 3 sisters, Odilia Medina, Belia de Leon, and Reyna Buenrostro; 5 brothers, Wenseslao de Leon, Rogelio de Leon, Oscar de Leon, Saul Amaro, and Lino Amaro; 20 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 29, 2020, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
