Jose M. Banda

Jose M. Banda, 89, of Brownsville, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021, at his Residence in Brownsville.

Mr. Banda is survived by his wife, Maria H. Banda; children, Marylou Banda, Jose (Cecilia) Banda, Jr., Mauricio (Vanessa) Banda, Raymundo Carlos (Eunice) Banda, Patsy (Raul) Martinez, Linda Pearson, and Becky (Desmond) Fernandez; siblings, Pablo Banda, Lupe Banda, and Esperanza Calderon; 16 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, March 8, 2021, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
