Jose Maximino "Max" Perez

Jose Maximino "Max" Perez, 71, of Brownsville, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at his residence in Brownsville.

Mr. Perez was born in Mexico to Maria Garcia Rodriguez and Guillermo Perez Gutierrez on December 14, 1949.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Guillermo and Maria Perez, his loving wife, Gloria Perez, and his brother, Guillermo Perez Jr.

Jose Maximino "Max" Perez is survived by his son, Jose Maximino Perez Jr.
Also left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Irene P. Cano, Maria Luisa (Jose Luis) Galvan, Clara (Javier) Maycotte, and Patricia (Gerardo) Torres, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 29, 2021, from 4-9 pm with Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 pm at Garza Memorial Funeral Home in Brownsville.   A Funeral Mass will be held at 12 noon on July 30, 2021, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
