Juanita Saldivar Vasquez

Juanita Saldivar Vasquez, 81, of Brownsville, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville.
She was a devout catholic.

Juanita is preceded in death by her parents, Juan Saldivar and Facunda Garcia, and four siblings, Roberto Saldivar, Anita Rodriguez, Inez Frausto, and brother-in-law, Genaro Aldaco.

She is survived by her husband (married for 4 years), Jesus M. Vasquez; three step-children, Jesus Vasquez Jr. (Raquel), Jeannette Marroquin (Albert), and Juliana Serna (Agustin);three sisters, Andrea Garcia, Lucia Gomez (Tomas), and Magdalena Aldaco. 5 Step- grandchildren and 2 step- great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm Thursday June 23, 2022 at Garza Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, June 24, 2022, at Mary Mother of the Church. Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Pall Bearers will be Jesus M. Vasquez Jr., Agustin Serna, Daniel Serna, Alberto Marroquin, Richard Aldaco, and John Joseph Saldivar.
