Laura Christina Gonzalez, 42, of Brownsville, passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021, surrounded by her loving family at her residence in Brownsville.

She is preceded in death by her father, David Gonzalez, Sr.

Laura is survived by her mother, Rosemary Gonzalez; sisters, Claudia E. (Luis) Mendoza, Denise R. Gonzalez, Annabel R. (Alfredo) Garcia; brother, David R. (MJ) Gonzalez, Jr.; paternal grandmother, Mary Gonzales; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and numerous other relatives.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm on Friday, August 13, 2021. Chapel service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be, David Gonzalez, Jr., Ethan Gonzalez, Noe Sandoval, Alfredo Garcia, Jesse Peña, Jr., Edward Godines, Samuel Gonzalez, and Ruben Cortez.
