Lidia R. Almaraz

Lidia R. Almaraz, 96, of Brownsville, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at her residence in Brownsville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Almaraz, and her son, David Almaraz Jr.

Mrs. Almaraz is survived by her children, Ruben Almaraz, Joe Almaraz, and Enedina A. Rodriguez, brothers and sisters, Homero, Juan, Lupe, Maria, and Sylvia Rios. 10 grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren and 3 great-great-grand children.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 6:00 pm Thursday, June 11th, 2026, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, June 12th, 2026, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Committal will follow at La Palma Cemetery.
