Manuel R. Cisneros

Manuel R. Cisneros, 82, of Brownsville, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020, at his residence in Brownsville.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Praxedis and Sara Cisneros; son, Jaime Cisneros; grandson, Joseph Lopez; brothers, Humberto Cisneros, and Praxedis Cisneros; sister, Maria Guadalupe "Lupita" Peres; niece, Eloisa Flores.

Manuel is survived by his wife, Carolina Cisneros; children, Pete (Marvis) Ramirez, Jr.; Carol (Art) Lopez, Aide (George) Sorrell, Eva Ramirez, and Samantha Mina (Justo) Cisneros; siblings, Celedina Cisneros, Maria Cantu, Gloria Ayala, Minerva Cantu, and Sara Lila Cisneros; 6 grandchildren, George Sorrell, Idasha Sorrell, Chelsea Lopez, Ashley Lopez, Angel Ramirez, and Alex Mancillas.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm on Monday, September 14, 2020, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at Holy Family Catholic Church. All services will conclude after the Funeral Mass.
