Maria Luisa Alarcon

Maria Luisa Alarcon, 88, of Brownsville, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at Solara Hospital in Brownsville.

She is preceded in death by parents, Manuel and Manuela Alarcon; a son, Felipe Salinas.

Mrs. Alarcon is survived by her children, Leonor Quiroz, Jose Salinas, Sylvia Garza, Martha Alarcon, Nora Alarcon, Maria Luisa Alarcon, and Lourdes Alarcon Garcia; a brother, Jose Alfredo Alarcon Garcia; 20 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled at 12 noon to 9 pm with a Prayer Service at 7 pm on Sunday, May 12, 2019, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel Service will be held at 10 am on Monday, May 13, 2019, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Pallbearers will be Rene Garcia, Rodolfo Davila, Juan Bañuelos, David Castro, Mario Alonzo, Jorge Castro, and Rolando Izaguirre.
