Maria Leobarda (Salazar) Ambriz

Maria Leobarda Ambriz, 87, of Brownsville, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Solara Hospital in Brownsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Modesta Salazar; son, Trinidad Caldera; and grandson, Benjamin Soley.

Maria Leobarda Ambriz is survived by her children, Ramona Soley (Miguel), Natividad Ambriz (Victoria), and Isaac Ambriz (Chas); siblings, Mario, Monica, Jesus, Francisco, Dolores, Beatriz, Ismael, Pilar, Guillermo, Lourdes, Cristina, Refugio, and Felipe; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm with an Evening Service at 7;00 pm on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, August 8, 2022, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
