Maria Antonia Rodriguez

Maria Antonia Rodriguez, 60, of Brownsville, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.

Maria Antonia Rodriguez was born in Matamoros, Tamps., Mexico, to Sofia Sigala and Paulo Rodriguez on March 6, 1964. She was preceded in death by her parents: Paulo Rodríguez, and Sofía Sígala; and her brother, Ignacio Rodríguez.

She is survived by her husband, Jose Angel Garcia (married for 39 years); her children: Jose Angel Garcia, Jr. ( Alicia), Annabel Garcia (Juan), Monica Garcia (Angel), and Antonio Garcia (Valeria); grandchildren: Sofia Cristina Garcia, Angel Jose Garcia, Loreilee Hernandez; siblings: Francisco Rodriguez, Elvira Alvarado, Paula Rodriguez, Felipe de Jesus Rodriguez, Martin Rodriguez, Marcial Rodríguez, and Mauricio Rodríguez ,and numerous other relatives.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 om Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. All services will conclude after visitation.
