Maria I. Avila

Maria I. Avila, 76, of Brownsville, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gabina Saucedo and Porfirio Escobedo.

Maria Avila is survived by her daughters, Elda Karina Avalos, and Irma Lizbeth Avila; and 5 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm Monday, November 4, 2024, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday, November 5th, 2024, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
