Maria Concepcion Garza

Maria Concepcion Garza, 96, of Brownsville, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, at her residence in Brownsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Aurelia Galvan and Ruperto Castillo; husband, Mariano Garza; daughter, Maria de los Angeles.

Maria is survived by her children: Anastacio Garza (Rosalinda), Irma Valentina Garza, Rosa Nelly Peterson (Christopher), Leticia Garza (Mary Cantu), Mariana Garza, and Mario Antonio Garza (Jacqueline); son in law, Mario Martinez; 29 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm Friday, October 18, 2024, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
