Maria Del Carmen Ortiz, 75, of Brownsville, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Brownsville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Brownsville.
Her favorite past times included needling, playing loteria, and bingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Jose and Francisca Ortiz; and two brothers, Jesus Ortiz, and Gilberto Ortiz.
Maria Del Carmen is survived by her siblings: Jose Ortiz, Rosa Ortiz Garza, Francisco Ortiz, and Ernesto Ortiz.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Chapel Service at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28th, 2023, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. All services will conclude after visitation.
