Maria De Jesus Herrera, 92, of Brownsville, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at her residence in Brownsville.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Antonio Salas, and Felicitas Gonzalez; husband, Alejandro Herrera; son, Alejandro Herrera, Jr., daughter, Juanita Garcia, and 3 sisters, Beatriz, Magdalena, and Santos Salas.
Maria Del Jesus Herrera is survived by her children, Maria Elena Vargas, Graciela Gegogeine, Blanca Bermudez, Eligio, Sergio, Noe, Mario, Antonio, and Miguel Herrera; brother, Antonio Salas; 31 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
